You can watch subtitled movies in iTunes, on your iPod, iPhone/iPod Touch or Apple TV or any other application that supports the QuickTime file format.
RoadMovie supports the major subtitle file formats like SubRip (.srt), SubViewer 1 & 2 (.sub), SubStation Alpha (.ssa/.ass) and MicroDVD.
Adding Subtitles to your Movie
First you need to find a proper subtitle file in one of the formats described above. Just use your internet browser and search. It's quite easy to find what you're looking for. Then navigate to the Subtitles pane using the main toolbar.

If the subtitle file was located in the same folder as the movie there's a fair chance that RoadMovie already found it for you.

If not, just click the select subtitle file button and navigate to your subtitle file.

Render and Preview
You can quickly see what your movie will look like with subtitles. Just hit the render button and wait a couple of seconds.... Done.

You can now see the movie with subtitles... but it's awfully small, isn't it? It's time to click Preview.

That's better :-)
Using your screen real-estate better
With RoadMovie you can change the aspect ratio of your movie to better fit the device/monitor you will watch it on. Say you wanted to watch this movie on your widescreen television connected to your Apple TV. As you can see the movie is in a cinema format and you will see black bars above and below the movie. Why not use this dead area for subtitles? Just select your desired aspect ratio in the popup and re-render the subtitles.

More options
Under RoadMovie->Preferences you can find all the settings you will need for your subtitles. You can change font, color, style, alignment and so on.
