Perfect all-in-one tool kit for video files - I am a native English speaker who lives in a house full of non-English speakers, so the subtitle capability is great. I have all sorts of gadgets with different requirements for video, and this tool can convert files for everything. I had one slight problem, contacted the seller, and was set right immediately. Great product, great company.

Fantastic time saver - This app has literally saved me hours of tedious mucking around with torrent movies files. The fact that I can now embed metadata and subtitles means all my hard work organising my movies and tv shows will now move with the file instead of having to recreate it in iTunes every time. This app has amzing tools for auto populating metadata for movies or tv shows. Hasn't failed me once. The subtitle locator is great too. I am amazed at how awesome this app is, my only regreat is I didn't discover it a long time ago. I think the extra money to go up from the iSubtitles to RoadMovie is absolutely worth it. (Note: all the iSubtitles functionality is included in RoadMovie). If you have lots of unorganised or untagged movie/tv shows - get this app. I use it for converting movies and tv shows for Apple TV/iPad and adding the meta-data and poster art (which automatically gets populated from iMDB).

Excellent! - While Handbrake is by far the best free application for converting files to iTunes compatible formats, I have found that RoadMovie, when used in conjunction with the free Perion QuickTime codec add-on, is the best and most versitile of them all. It not only is just as good as Handbrake for straight conversions, but it also can remux MKV to MP4, meaning fully Mac, Apple TV and iDevice compatible HD content in a few minutes instead of hours, automatically finds complete iTunes compatible metadata for both movies amd TV Shows, provides a comprehensive subtitle search function, and can do soft and hard subs using all the major subtitle extensions out there, and will even automatically add the finished product to iTunes for you if you want. This one app does what it used to take 2-3 different ones to accomplish, reduces the workflow down to almost nothing, and is solely responsible for me being able to move my Mac Mini into the office and only have an Apple TV at the main entertainment center un the house. Combined with the great streaming TV apps on the iPad/iPhone, the Apple TV and Airplay Mirroring, this almost reduces the need for cable TV down to zero...almost.Really happy with RoadMovie.

Good and Fast - I use this for hard coding subtitles onto films. It can do a 90 minute film in about 20 minutes on an i7 MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz. On top of that, the Quartz-rendered subtitles look great and are minimally intrusive. you also get a nice level of control over the fonts, line spacing, background opacity, et cetera. I'd prefer a more obvious indication that the subtitles are being rendered after they are first imported, however.

Very happy user - This mighty application does everything it promises and is a must if you want to get the most out of your iOS and Apple TV video experiences. Whenever I have had an issue with a strange format or other problem, Jörgen, the developer, has been extremely helpful on the support side. Highly recommended.

Superb - I've tried a lot of video encoding software, as I stream movies and television to a range of devices in our household with varying capabilities including a PS3, Xbox 360, and iOS devices. Nothing has quite offered the ease of use and features that RoadMovie provides and I wholeheartedly recommend it! Worth every penny for the hours it's saved me already.

The better converter program. - This is the program which deserves the custommers of iVi. I've tried HandBrake, Anyvideo converter Hd, Smart Converter, and a ton of other converting programs. This is the program I'll settle with.

Very good! - I am very pleased with this app, and think it represents a solid value. I have not encountered any bugginess, and the ten conversions I have attempted (all with some subtitling) have been quick (30 minutes or less for a feature-length video) and flawless (and this on 3.06 dual core iMac). I did hit a snag on the install, and my e-mail for support was answered very promptly by Jörgen, who patiently led me through the process of cleaning up a permissions problem or two, and kept checking to be sure the app was working for me. What more could you ask of a developer?

At last a replacement for VisualHub - I have been looking for a replacement for visualhub for a while, and never found one I like, this is the first app I found to do that, and it can even handle some formates that VisualHub would botch.

I recently bought Roadmovie for mac. not only the app integrates really great in mac environment, but it's also great at what it is supposed to do : translate movie for macintosh devices like ipod, appletv, adding subs etc ... It really works like magic.
And if like me you unfortunately have a problem with the app due to the configuration of your mac, the developer really does an amazing job at correcting the bugs, in a very short time, so you can keep going with the app with fun and ease... So in the end the bug correction is really personalized ... Frankly I didn't expect so much. Greta app ! great developer ! Great reactivity ! A must have !

For non-english speaking countries subtitles are essential. It's the only way to watch shows that will not ever be released here, so RoadMovie is great for me. I love the easy way to convert videos for my iPhone and the support for Elgato Turbo, which makes this process really fast!
